MIDRAR INSTITUTE OF PUBLIC HEALTH (MIPH) served as the training hub for enhancing the quality of maternal and newborn care services.

A three-day training for Banadir Hospital staff was jointly organized by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, the Quality Assurance Unit, and Banadir Hospital. The training focused on equipping frontline healthcare workers with practical knowledge and skills in Quality Improvement (QI) to address service delivery challenges and ensure reliable, high-quality care.

Dr. Mohamed Mohamud Shobow, Director of Research at MIPH, was among the facilitators providing knowledge and skills to the staff. MIPH remains committed to advancing the health and well-being of the Somali community.
